Sonesta Essential Orlando Airport

A nice hotel conveniently close to Waffle House. I've spent a few days here with my partner. Our bed was huge, our room was nice and small, and our bathtub (although small) had very nice hot water. My one complaint was the A/C. It can get noisy at times, especially overnight. Other than that, there was no noise from the neighboring rooms. Within walking distance is Waffle House. I recommend it for those who want a meal early in the morning.

I had such a great experience here! The place was spotless and very well-kept, which made me feel really comfortable right away. Fatima at the front desk was not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating — she went above and beyond to make sure everything I needed was taken care of. I really appreciate the warm hospitality.

Room was renovated and clean. Service was great everyone nice and friendly. Location is convenient near the airport with bus access. But nothing much to do around. Shower tub could be updated. Warm breakfast buffet style was good. Great coffee. Visited March 2026.

Fantastic stay at the Sonesta Essential Hotel. Emile, the manager, truly made our experience what it was. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every single day he greeted us with a smile and a hello—such a genuine, kind gentleman. Customer service like that makes a huge difference. Highly recommend this hotel thanks to Emile and his hospitality.

Seems to be recently remodeled. I wasn't sure what I would get room wise but I was definitely satisfied room wise. I arrived pretty late in the evening but someone was at the desk and was quick with checking in. Breakfast was probably the only negative. It was just small area, not much was there. But for the price point, I couldnt really expect much more. Ended up at the Waffle House next door.

Sonesta Essential Orlando Excellent hotel option in Orlando. The location is excellent, very convenient for getting around the city. The cleanliness was impeccable; the room was very neat, comfortable, and well maintained. Mr. Emil welcomed us at the front desk, and his service was excellent, very kind and professional. We stayed one night to enjoy a concert in Orlando, and I give this hotel 5 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The front desk clerk was so kind. He gave me a double bed and said if I needed anything, don’t hesitate to ask. The hotel was very clean and smelled great.

Long weekend at Universal studios and this was the perfect hotel to stay in. Check in was easy, we were surprised about the $50 deposit, hotel was fresh and welcoming. Rooms were clean and beds were cozy! We had a little hard time with the TV but the manager came right to our room and fixed the issue. Breakfast was good providing both hot foods, muffins & pastries, yogurt, juices, and 24 availability of coffee & tea. Location was nice being right off the interstate. We would definitely recommend!!

I had a great experience here. My flight was delayed and I did call ahead to let them know that I wouldn’t make it in time for check in. They said it was okay. Me and my bf got there and the check in process was smooth. The lobby was basically bare though and did not look very nice. However, the room was great and comfortable. Even if we were there for a couple hrs, the experience we had was great, including the customer service.

Very comfortable hotel. Location was great: just a few minutes from the airport! Room was big and clean. Receptionists were excellent: Kayla, Shayla and Emil. Service room was very good. Breakfast was pretty good: Yolanda provided excellent service; but the other employee had a bad attitude: I asked her to warm the water to make a tea and she refused to do it ("do it by yourself" -she said). In general, my wife and I enjoyed our stay there.
